LPG stands for Liquefied Petroleum Gas, often referred to as autogas. Normally when a vehicle is converted to LPG the petrol system remains intact so that it can be used on either fuel thus providing an increased driving range on dual fuel where necessary. The major advantage of a vehicle running on LPG is fuel costs reduced by at least 50%. The other major advantage is a large reduction in emissions.

The conversion kits are manufactured by Romano Autogas in Italy, one of the leading autogas manufacturers. Components include AEB electronics, the world's leader in the production and supply of electronics for the autogas industry and tanks manufactured by Stako in Poland, the largest global manufacturer of LPG vehicle tanks. All kits meet or exceed EU quality standards.

The conversion kits use the latest technology in both sequential multi point injection systems and single point systems. On top of this there is a vast choice of tank shapes and sizes, which means that we can help you choose the most suitable one for your needs. All conversions are installed and certified in accordance with the LPGA Code of Practice 11

We endeavor to keep the costs competitive but you will find that they increase in line with the size of the engine. Guide prices for vehicles manufactured since 2000 are:

4 Cylinders from 240cc............................From just £1300 + vat

5/6 Cylinders from 1800 to 4000cc................From just £1500 + vat

8 Cylinders from 3200cc..........................From just £1700 + vat

For 4x4 vehicles you should add an extra £50 + vat.

Vehicles requiring special petrol tanks require individual quotations. For vehicles manufactured before 2000 it may be possible to fit a more basic system thus saving up to £250 + vat.
